How it works

From plan to connected, in four steps.

An eSIM is a SIM that lives in your phone. You add it before you travel and it waits until you arrive.

  1. 01

    Buy

Choose a plan for your trip

Search your destination and say how long you’re away. We mark the plan that fits, and you can compare every plan, including unlimited day plans. Pay on this website by card, or in the Roamy app with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card.

Visiting several countries? Check that a regional plan includes each one.

  2. 02

    Install

Add the eSIM before you fly

Install at home on Wi‑Fi. On iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later it takes one tap in the app. On other phones, scan the QR code or enter the code by hand. It takes about a minute.

Leave data roaming off until you land, and keep the eSIM on your phone for the whole trip.

  3. 03

    Activate

Switch it on when you land

Turn on the Roamy line, choose it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it. The validity period starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network, not when you buy or install it.

Keep data roaming off on your home line so your usual carrier can’t charge you abroad.

  4. 04

    Stay connected

Check your data, add more if you need it

Your trip in the app shows the data left and the days to go. Running low? Add data to the same eSIM, with nothing new to install. Unlimited plans give you full-speed data each day, then slower speeds until the next day.

Unlimited plans can’t be topped up; you choose their length when you buy.

Worth knowing

Installing is not activating

Install
Adds the eSIM to your phone. Do it at home, on Wi‑Fi, before you travel. Nothing is used yet.
Activate
Happens when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination. Your plan’s days start then.

Where are you landing next?
